After years of complaining, Shenmue fans will finally get their wish. Yu Suzuki has confirmed that Shenmue 3 is definitely happening, with the announcement being made last night at Sony’s E3 conference.
It was revealed in an interesting way, with Suzuki also starting up a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the making of the game. Asking for $2 million worth of pledges, which was achieved within a few hours.
“I have dreamed of making this sequel for 14 years. “It is time to bring Shenmue back! And to make it come true, it will need the love and support from each and every one of you!” (Yu Suzuki)
Although the $2 million target has already been met, fans are still advised to continue donating with more targets if the figure reaches $3.5 million and then $4 million.

Shock, horror, another PS4 game is experiencing issues since its release, today’s victim – Ultra Street Fighter 4. Gamers so far, have confirmed about lag, graphical glitches, a slowdown in menu and also sound bugs.
Developers of the game Capcom, issued the following statement;
“SCEA and Capcom are currently looking into the issues that some users may be experiencing and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible. A lot of our more competitive players have wondered how the USFIV version of PS4 will affect them and the tour.
To that we’d like to advise that the integrity of the Capcom Pro Tour is a top priority for us and we will continue to work with tournament organisers worldwide to ensure that the highest quality event will be run. Each region will maintain its current hardware standard for the remainder of the 2015 Capcom Pro Tour until otherwise announced.
We will keep you updated as to when the PS4 version of USFIV will be integrated into the Pro Tour.”
It seems as if no game is released nowadays without a glitch. Guess it’s something we’re just going to have to get used to.

Former CEO of Sega’s American division – Tom Kalinske, has slated former gaming giants Sega for it’s current state in the industry, claiming that the company has been making ‘wrong decisions’ for 20 years.
Discussing the relocation of Sega’s San Francisco offices, Kalinske said the following;
“It could have been avoided if they had made the right decisions going back literally 20 years ago. But they seem to have made the wrong decisions for 20 years. You have to really make a lot of mistakes to kill a strong brand. I do think some great brands obviously have been destroyed, Atari being one of them. Why didn’t that survive? I think there’s a lot of bad decision making involved in killing brands like that. I hope Sega isn’t the same thing.”
The scathing words will come as no surprise to gamers who grew up with Sega. How they managed to go from one of the biggest gaming companies to what they are now, makes absolutely no sense. Even Sonic can’t save them.
