Pretty much every game is an online multiplayer game today, so it can be difficult to choose one that stands out, that’s why we’re providing a selection.

Call of Duty is always a going to be up there with the best online multiplayer games, and Ghosts is no different. It involves high speed shooting, and it has addictiveness like no other, you can find many individuals across the world playing this game right now.

Fifa 14 is a must for all football fans, and it will always be up there with one of the most played online games. There is Fifa Ultimate Team, whereby you can create a team and play against others online, or perhaps you just want to head to the match lobby for typical ranked match playing with your favourite team.

Our final choice is GTA 5, it is widely known for its superb storylines, but this year the online game play is on a different level. So if you’re stuck for ideas on online games, any of these three will be superb choices.

There are various generations of video game consoles in chronological order including;

First Generation
The first generation vintage game consoles were manufactured during the 1972-1980 period. They included; Magnavox odssey, telstar, Phillips Odyssey, Color Tv game, radio shack tv scoreboard and APF Tv fun.

Second Generation
The second generation vintage game consoles were manufactured during the 1976-1983 period. They included; Fair child channel, RCA studio, Atari 2600, Bally astrocade, VC 4000, Intellivision, Arcadia and super casette vision.

Third Generation
The third generation vintage games were manufactured during the 1983-1995 period. They included; Action max, sega master system, sharp nintendo television, nintendo entertainment, family computer disk and commorade games system.

Fourth Generation
They fourth generation vintage games were manufactured during the 1987-1999 period. They included; Sega genesis, neo-geo, commorode CDTV, turbo duo, CD-i, super A’Can, super nintendo entertainment system and turbo grafx-16.

Fifth Generation
The fifth generation vintage games were manufactured during the 1993-2000 period. They included; Virtual boy, playstation and apple bandai pippin.

For some, choosing between an Xbox and a Playstation is a tough decision. It may come down to loyalty, it may be that you finally fancy a change, but if it all comes down to the power within each console, then the simple answer is PS4.

The PS4 graphics processor is 50 per cent more powerful, with 1152 processors against the Xbox One’s not so good 768. It’s fair to say that Microsoft worked on developing the power, and earlier this year they announced the speed will change from 800MHz to 853MHz. It is a significant improvement, that must be said, but it still will not match up to the Play station 4.

Some people have been lucky enough to experience the PS4 and use its controller, and we feel that significant improvements have been made to the controller, making gaming much more enjoyable.

For adult gamers, the design seemed to feel quite small, perhaps only suited really to children, whereas Xbox’s was bigger. Now the handles are much smoother, and apparently a lot more comfortable in the palm of the hand.  The buttons and triggers are again more rounded while the design is not completely different, making it unfamiliar. Playstation have solved their issues for larger hands, and the new touchpad is a nice addition. Many think about the consoles and the games, but we feel improvement to controllers are important and definitely worth a mention.
