Top 3 from the top 25 games list!

Posted on July 26, 2014 at 7:38 pm

The top 3 must haves for XBOX 360 are as follows:

3rd – Halo 4 – this game really steps up! The graphics are insane, even nicer than Halo 3! The sound effects are spot on and the gameplay of this first person shooter really provide an unmatched gaming sensation! There is so much you could say about this game, but we suggest you just play it!

2nd – Grand Theft Auto V – is truly one of the best games you can play. The game took 5 years to make – not surprising considering the world they created of Los Santos and the greater San Andreas area truly seems living! You can do anything from playing a round of golf, or flying a passenger jetliner. Not only this, but the awaited opportunity for playing online could really open this game up to the possibilities of becoming the number 1 best game created!

1st – Mass Effect – this is the most recommended game to purchase! The fact that it is a trilogy of games certainly helps this to be the top of the most wanted list. Once you’ve played and experienced this game, you’ll never forget it. Over around 100 hours you’ll create Commander Shepard, you’ll get to know him, you’ll build relationships and go on adventures across the galaxy… Each game is different, but links perfectly. BioWare really worked wonders on creating this game!

“Nintendo WiiU flopped” – Confirms Nintendo

Posted on March 31, 2014 at 10:21 am

Nintendo had confirmed a flop with its new console Nintendo Wii U despite a worldwide high in game console sales. Nintendo has admitted that the low sales of the new console has caused huge problems for them financially.

Nintendo said they expect a loss of $240 million (25 million Japanese yen) in the year to the end of March, reversing an earlier 55 billion Japanese yen net profit forecast, while annual revenue would drop 36 percent. Their initially predicted sales number of 9 million units has now changed to 2.8 million units which is less than a third of expected. In conclusion of the loss Nintendo have announced that its CEO will be taking a 50 percent pay cut to make up for losses, however. They still remain firm, though shaken, in the wake of Wii U’s poor numbers but its no secret that Nintendo has seen better days , especially with the Nintendo 3DS.

Retro Gaming Consoles

Posted on March 18, 2014 at 10:28 am

Gaming consoles having always been a fast developing phenomenon. Over four decades, they have developed from the founding member of gaming consoles, the Atari 2600, made in 1977, all the way to the most recent Xbox 1 and Playstation 4. Over this time, games have developed from games like asteroids and pac-man, to the graphical powerhouses of games like Call of Duty Ghost. But a lot of people still look upon the retro games and gaming consoles, like the Atari, as awesome, and something timeless. You only need to play a game like asteroids, or pac-man, and you will have no option other than to admit the unique appeal of such a simple game. While asteroids may only have very simple graphics, the tension and enjoyment you can derive from the game is no less than what you can experience in a modern game. Even when I play them now, I quickly find that addictive quality of those games is still present.

Posted on February 25, 2014 at 7:14 pm

Many games will provide their own take on a game console controller, with permission of course, and they can make playing a particular game a lot easier. There’ not usually a great deal of problems with controllers on consoles, but overtime they may not be particularly comfortable depending on the buttons used.

Titanfall have produced their own controller, well a take on an Xbox controller and it is designed to be more comfortable for gamers playing the game, while it also stands out with its own designs. This could only be seen as a purchase for hardcore Titanfall fans or regular gamers, and the majority of people may be more than happy to stick to the default controller.

Yet if you are growing tired of your controller then know that there are more possibilities out there and many games may be supplying their own specialist controller throughout the year so keep an eye out.
