The fantasy CRPG game Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the follow up to Original Sin, released in 2014 by Larian Studios. It is a role playing game set in a fantasy world called Rivellon, fighting against evil forces known as The Void. The aim of the game is for the player to become undead by fighting against The Void and winning back the kingdom. The first mission is to escape from Fort Joy, where the Sourcerers have been captured and sent to be ‘cured’.

The game is all about relationships and using them to benefit gameplay. The player selects a team – up to 3 people to help on the mission. Each person has an individual story that matters to the game and the outcome.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 was released in September for Microsoft Windows. It is a beautifully designed, highly playable game that will keep you entertained with its many twists and turns.

Posted on October 31, 2017 at 11:14 pm

Paris Games Week has just been held by Sony, where there are always some big announcements for fans interested in new games, consoles and products. Unfortunately, details are often vague – these announcements are more teasers for extra popularity than anything else – but it definitely did the job of building up some hype this year.

VR was definitely a key theme this year, with Sony talking about it a lot and bringing out some important games in the VR format. One game that has now been announced is Megalith, a fairly standard shooter game featuring titans and gods and lots of actions. The twist is that this game is going to be released in the VR format, rather than simply on PS4.

Many other titles and sequels were announced. We can look forward to a Spelunky 2 and a Guacamelee 2, both long-awaited titles. Other games announced include The Gardens Between and Final Fantasy XV.
