Buying Specialist Game Controllers

Posted on February 25, 2014 at 7:14 pm

Many games will provide their own take on a game console controller, with permission of course, and they can make playing a particular game a lot easier. There’ not usually a great deal of problems with controllers on consoles, but overtime they may not be particularly comfortable depending on the buttons used.

Titanfall have produced their own controller, well a take on an Xbox controller and it is designed to be more comfortable for gamers playing the game, while it also stands out with its own designs. This could only be seen as a purchase for hardcore Titanfall fans or regular gamers, and the majority of people may be more than happy to stick to the default controller.

Yet if you are growing tired of your controller then know that there are more possibilities out there and many games may be supplying their own specialist controller throughout the year so keep an eye out.

Benefits of Renting a Video Game

Posted on December 19, 2013 at 7:16 am

Renting a video game can give you a chance to test it without having to commit to the full purchase. Of course there is a fee for renting a video game, but it’s significantly cheaper, and occasionally you can even complete the game in the duration of renting it, whether it’s 3 night, 5 nights or a week.

There are a great deal of games available for rent, and if you’re not 100% certain on a game then renting can be ideal. Prices for games have increased, as has the technology in the gaming systems, so while this can be reasonable, it’s not always ideal paying out a lot of money for a game without having the chance to test it first.

We recommend renting a video game for these reasons, so if you want to be 1005 certain before you commit to a purchase then make sure you remember that renting is an option.

Is there still a future for the Xbox 360

Posted on November 23, 2013 at 11:16 am

As many people switch this Christmas from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One, some may say there is absolutely no future for the Xbox 360.

This is not entirely true, well at least not for the time being. The Xbox 360 is not dead yet, there are still updates to come and Microsoft is currently releasing free games such as Fable 3, Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed 2. Plus there are still 100 more titles to be released, so people can continue playing with their Xbox 360s until the prices drop significantly for next gen consoles.

So it’s not time to throw the console away just yet, there plenty more life for it to give.
